The required piece of equipment must be fully compatible and interoperable with the existing hardware configuration. Authority for this ''brand name only'' procurement, for other than full and open competition, is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. Refurbished equipment will be accepted. Responsible sources who are interested in this procurement may respond by providing clear and convincing information that will show that their equipment will be compatible with DMA's existing hardware configuration.
