SERVICES AND CONSTRUCTION SURVEILLANCE FOR REPAIR AND ALTERATION
PROJECTS AND OTHER SERVICES IN THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO SOL

245-9551. The contract for architect-engineer services with guaranteed
minimum amount of $5,000 will be for two years with individual work
orders being issued. Each work order will be negotiated as an
individual project. Work orders for any one project cannot exceed
$100,000, and the total contract cannot exceed $500,000 for each
12-month period. The contract may be renewed for three one-year periods
providing the total contract amount does not exceed $2,500,000 over the
five-year term. Firms that have the qualifications to perform the
services described are invited to submit a completed SF 255,
Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire for Specific
Project, a completed SF 254, Architect-Engineer and Related Services
Questionnaire and a completed SF 254 for each of its proposed
consultants to: Facilities Service Office, Attn: Freda Kelley, 8055
East Tufts Avenue Suite 400, Denver CO 80237-2881. Selection will be
conducted by using the submitted SF 255 and SF 254s. Interested firms
with more than one office must indicate on the SF 255 the staffing
composition of the office in which the work will be performed.
Consideration will be given to firms responding to this advertisement
in accordance with the instructions in the following order of
preference: 1) Local. A/E firms in the Albuquerque metropolitan area.
2) State of New Mexico. 3) Out of State of New Mexico. A/E firms will
be considered local only if their sole office is in the specified
geographical area or have a branch office and all the architectural
design, coordination and management of projects will be performed in
that office in the local area. There is no restriction on the
geographical location of consultants. The scope of work will be for an
indefinite quantity contract for A/E services for repairs and
alterations in postal facilities; construction administration; and site
adapt of modular buildings in the Albuquerque and northern New Mexico
areas. Multiple awards may be made. The contract contains a requirement
for firms to provide evidence of current insurance of $200,000 errors
and omissions per claim. Participation of Minority-Owned Businesses is
a consideration in US Postal Service architect-engineer selections. It
is prohibited to pay any fee, commission, percentage or brokerage fee
to any person for or firm contingent upon or resulting from award of a
contract form this solicitation. No other general notification for
this solicitation will be made. Submission of SF 254 and SF 255 by USPS
mail is encouraged. Submissions will not be retained or returned. This
