General services administration wishes to announce that on or about October 25,1995, the Solicitation FCGE-96-0001-N for COST-per-copy (CPC) copier requirements for the Defense Printing Service detachment Branch office (dpsdbo), and any other DOD/Federal Government activity for whom dpsdbo is acting as an agent in Camp Lejeune and Cherry point, north Carolina area will be issued. This procurement will require furnishing of copiers and all accessories, furnishing and delivery of consumable supplies (except paper), emergency repairservice, periodic perventive maintenance and key operators training. Copier requirements have been broken down into five volume bands defined as follows: Volume band I, 15 copies per minute minimum, and 1-5,000 copies per month; volume band II, 20 copies per minute minimum, and 5,001-15,000 copies peermonth; volume band III, 30 copies per minute minimum, and 15,001-30,000 copies per month; volume band IV 45 copies per minute minimum, and 30,001-50,000 copies per month; and volume band VII 70 copies per month minimum, and 100,001-150,000 copies per month. The Defense Printing Service has Given an initial machine estimate of 746 units. Offered copiers are to be the manufacturer'scurrent production models, either new or newly remanufactured. This procurement will be negotiated. One awarded will be made. The resultant contract will be afirm, fixed price, requirements type contract. The contract period for this procurement will be for from January 1, 1996 through September 30, 1996, with the option to extend for four one year options.
