J -- REPAIR 2 BOILERS Sol DAAA31-96-T-0002 due 112095. Repair of 2 boilers, to include repairs, modifications, or alterations to the rear tube sheet to true existant tube holes; clean the rear tube sheet for dye penetrant test and perform test. Repair IAW AMSE code any damage to the tube sheet and/or ligaments. Furnish and install a complete set of tubes for the second and third pass. Material shall be SA-178-A, 10 gauge 0.135'' minimum wall thickness. Each tube shall be individually measured and cut to proper length. Tube holes and both ends of each tube shall be polished to ``bright metal'' prior to installation, four inches from the end. Each tube shall be rolled, flared, and beaded on each end. Work shall be accomplished within 45 days from award of contract. This acquisition is 100 percent set aside for small business. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted.
