The contractor shall be responsible for taking, documenting and disseminating basic surface observations. All station personnel must be certified or certifiable by the National Weather Service. The contractor shall also be responsible for distribution of flight folders. Monthly distribution is estimated to be 2,000 folders per month. The scheduled commencement date for these services is February 1, 1996. This procurement will be conducted as a Request for Proposals, and is a 100% small business set-aside action. See Note No. 1.
