Those prospective offerors who are Small Businesses are invited to participate in this procurement. The scope of work remains unchanged. The bid opening remains 24 October 1995. A brief description as stated in the original synopsis is included. The prospective offeror shall be responsible for Consolidated Grounds Maintenance (South). Maintenance includes cutting and edging of grass; hedge trimming; pruning; planting; seeding; fertilization; tree and stump removal; sodding; cultivation; fenceline and fitness exercise stations; drainage maintenance of gutters, walkways, curbs, roadways; cutting of unoccupied quarters, and other services required to maintain the grounds maintenance (South). The contract is a combination firm-fixed price and Indefinite Quantity. The contract term will be for a base and four option periods of up to 12 months each with prices established at award. The Government has the unilateral right to exercise options, but award of options in not guaranteed. The duration of the contract including the exercise of options shall not exceed 66 months. The plans and specs are expected to be ready for issue on or about 22 September 1995. Availability of the solicitation is limited and will be furnished on a first-received, first-served basis.
