The Contract Title is changed from Replace Windows and Siding, Building 416, Naval Air Warfare Center/Aircraft Division, Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, Maryland to Replace Windows and Siding, Building 416 and 419. The work includes demolition of the existing windows, radiators, plumbing fixtures, selected finishes, exterior doors and door hardware, ceiling, roofing system, piping insulation, remove and reinstall existing fire stairs and other related items. The new work includes, but is not limited to, installing new windows, exterior finishes, HVAC system, suspended ceiling, exterior and interior doors and door hardware, fire sprinkler system, plumbing fixtures, entrance canopy and other related items. This will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The estimated cost of construction between $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00, SIC Code 1542-17MIL. Do not call for addition technical information. Invitation for bid is tentatively scheduled for 1 November 1995. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for 14 November 1995. All bids must be received no later than 2:00 pm on 4 December 1995.
