WARNER ROBINS AIR LOGISTICS CENTER (WR-ALC) - BLUE RIBBON PROGRAM: The Blue Ribbon Program is a best value contracting technique which provides a structure within which the contracting officer exercises business judgment in awarding contracts that provide the best value to the Government. The program applies to all competitively negotiated, replenishment spare parts acquisitions in which there is price competition and results in firm-fixed-price contract awards. WR-ALC currently has 25 Blue Ribbon Contractors in Federal Supply Classes (FSC) 1005 (2), 1270 (1), 1550 (1), 1560 (9), 1615 (1), 1680 (1), 2530 (1), 2910 (1), 3930 (1), 4320 (1), 4935 (1), 5180 (1), 5340 (1), 5410 (1), 5865 (3), 5895 (1), 5950 (1), 5998 (1), 6610 (1), and 7310 (1). Contractors interested in applying for the program should request applications from WR-ALC's Blue Ribbon Monitor, Sarah Braswell, WR-ALC/PKPB, 235 Byron Street, Robins AFB GA 31098-1611, (912) 926-9003. Contractors may submit Blue Ribbon applications for any FSC managed by WR-ALC.
