SYNOPSIS - This work includes provision of necessary labor transportation, materials, supplies, equipment, and supervision for the installation of 400 Hz converters in Building 41 including converters, conduit, wiring, and incidental related work at the Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, IN. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this procurement is 1731 and the size standard is 7 million. Completion time is 90 days after award. Estimated value is between $100,000.00 - $250,000.00. This procurement is being considered for 100% set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify Debbie Dills, Small Business Specialist, as early as possible, but no later than 15 days from date of this notice MUST provide all of the following information. Indicate interest in the acquisition in writing by providing to the contracting office above a positive statement of your intent to bid. You must also provide evidence of capability to perform including a reference for prior contract work of similar size and complexity and a positive statement of eligibility as a small, socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. You also need to furnish a letter from your bonding company indicating their intent to provide the necessary bonding for performing this contract and a bank reference including a point of contact. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted procurement without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are requested from all interested business concerns as well as SDB concerns.
