This requirement is to qualify EMI connector filters for installation in the remote terminal units (RTU). Twenty-five (25) each MH-47E production aircraft will be modified via field retrofit kits developed as a result of electromagnetic environmental effects testing done at PAX River. Eight (8) EMI connector filters are required per aircraft, four (4) in each RTU. The Government does not own technical data suitable for full and open competition. Pursuant to FAR 6.302(a)(1), the only approved source is Boeing Defense and Space Group, Helicopter Division, P.O. Box 16858, Philadelphia, PA.
