The proposed procurement is to provide a Fielding Logistics Integration Engineer to investigate, analyze and recommend corrective action for fielding problems/issues associated with the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior Helicopter. The Government anticipates a sole source award to Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc., under the authority of 10.U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), based on the determination that the manufacturer of the OH-58D aircraft is the only source that has the test data, design experience and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) data base to accomplish this effort.
