Pre-Solicitation: The work under this contract shall include, but is not limited to all types of masonry repairs (vertical walls); demolition masonry, cleaning masonry, caulking masonry walls, pointing masonry, patching masonry, furnish and intall all types of unit masonry repairs, waterproofing masonry and miscellaneous mansory work, listed in the Schedule of Prices and described herein. Estimated Cost Range is $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The Standard Industrial Code is 1771. The related Small Business Size Standard is $7 million. The proposed contract listed here is being considered 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Concerns. Interested SDB Concerns should provide in writing to the Contracting Officer as early as possible, but not later than 15 days after receipt of this notice, specifically: 1) a list of references past and present government/commercial contracts, similar to the work described in this notice, which includes the contract number, title of contract, dollar value, name of person to contact, and telephone number, 2) a positive statement of self certification as a SDB Concern, and 3) a statement of capability to obtain the required bonds. If adequate interest is not received from SDB Concerns, the solicitation with be issued on an unrestricted basis and another notice will be issued. Therefore, replies to this office are requested from all interested business as well as SDB Concerns. The Bid Opening Date is on or about 4 January 1996.
