The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, material, and equipment necessary for remodeling and upgrading 61 military family housing units on Peterson Air Force Base. The project includes replacement of interior finishes, kitchen cabinets and counter tops, bathroom vanities, plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, doors and windows, partitions, exterior siding, asbestos abatement, wood fencing, asphalt overlay and associated demolition. The community development plan, a part of this project, includes improvements for pedestrian walkway, crosswalks, and associated landscaping improvements, new playgrounds, and upgrading existing playgrounds. Plans and technical specifications are provided by USAF with additive alternates included. The performance time for this project is 540 calendar days. The solicitation is scheduled for issuance on or about 3 Nov 95 with proposals due on or about 4 Dec 95. There is a charge of $100.00 for the solicitation package. This is a non-refundable charge.
