15 -- 15 - MV-22 FY-97, FY-98 AND FY-99 PROCUREMENTS SOL N00019-95-R-0027 POC Contact, GWEN WEAVER, Phone (703)604-1920 The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) intends to issue a request for proposal during the last quarter of calendar year 1995 for the planned FY 97, FY 98 and FY 99 procurements of MV-22 low rate of initial production (LRIP) aircraft. NAVAIR intends to award an advanced acquisition contract for the FY 97 procurement in ?St quarter of calendar year 1996 utilizing FY 96 advance funds. Priced options for the FY 98 and FY 99 are planned to be added to the FY 97 contract in the last quarter of calendar year 1996. Each LRIP procurement will be for such aircraft quantities as authorized by Congress, and the related supplies and services necessary for the manufacturer and initial use of the aircraft. Such supplies and services consist of administrative, financial and technical data, sustaining engineering and software support, spare and repair parts, support equipment, integrated logistics support and analysis, phased support, training and training devices, technical publications, repair of repairables, and maintenance planning.
