S -- REFUSE COLLECTION, RECYCLE PICKUP, AND OPERATE CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS LANDFILL SOL DABT23-96-B-0005 DUE 120195 POC Contract Specialist Nelson Kerr (502) 624-4947 (Site Code DABT23) Contractor shall collect refuse from Fort Knox facilities, haul and dispose of refuse at an approved sanitary landfill; collect various recycle materials and deliver to the recycle center located on the Fort Knox installation; and shall operate a construction debris landfill located at Fort Knox, Kentucky during the period 1 January 1996 through 31 December 1996 with four one-year option periods through 31 December 2000. Contractor shall also be required to haul and dispose of an estimated 1000 cubic yards of asbestos removed from Fort Knox facilities annually. Contractor shall provide all personnel and equipment to perform services in accordance with the contract specifications, Army Regulation 420-47, EPA 40 CFR 241, and Kentucky Solid Waste Management Regulations (KAR) 47:070 and 48:060. This requirement falls under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (FAR Subpart 19.10). All responsible sources may submit a bid.
