for an integrated conference facility that will serve 125 attendees
with the following facilities, amenities, and characteristics during
the period of 5 November 1995 through 9 November 1995. (1) 107 single
hotel rooms including desks, 4 nights per room. (2) 3 meals per day per
attendee. Each meal is to offer a variety of food choices which conform
to current USDA dietary guidelines; include ''all you can eat''
portions; and vary daily. (3) Parking for all attendees. (4) 1 large
room for all attendees to meet together, with suitable podium, support
for presentation aids, and seating. (5) 5 smaller rooms for breakout
sessions, with a capacity of 22 people per room with suitable seating.
(6) Audio-visual equipment for all 6 meeting rooms, to include
monitors, VCRs, overhead projectors and projection screens. (7) A
campus setting to isolate attendees from distractions and facilitate
intensive team-building. (8) Facility located within 40 miles of
Washington National Airport. (9) Workout facilities to include
volleyball, racquetball, and general fitness. (10) Shuttle service to
and from National Airport. The Coast Guard intends to solicit oral
quotes to satisfy the requirements of Simplified Acquisition
Procedures. All correspondence shall reference the solicitation number
DTCG23-96-Q-QAC026 and include the responding firm's name, address,
contact point, and telephone number. All responses must be received by
23 October 1995. This Notice is for informational purposes for
Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The
Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged
Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist minority,
women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire
short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related
contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program
(STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable
financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000. For further
