PROKO, (215)697-9621 FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire an Automated Information Retrieval System (AIRS) for the Naval Aviation Depot in Cherry Point, NC. The system to be delivered shall be integrated into the existing local area network and shall include warranty maintenance services, manuals, and training of Government personnel. Training in the operation and support of the system to Government personnel is also required. The AIRS to be provided shall include client access to information subscription services on CD-ROM drives and jukeboxes, network interface hardware, and software to provide simultaneous access for concurrent users to the CD-ROM based data. The AIRS shall be capable of supporting and providing access to a minimum of 800 CD-ROM platters. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated, and will be conducted as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable Standard Industrial Code is 4783, which carries a size standard of $18,000,000.
