B -- MASS SPECTRA FOR USE IN MASS SPECTRAL DATABASE DUE 113095 POC Sandra Febach (301) 975-6326 The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate with Chemical Concepts GmbH, Wenheim, Germany, on a sole source basis to acquire full non-exclusive use of a collection of mass spectra for use in the NIST/NIH/EPA Mass Spectral Database. For each spectrum, the contractor shall supply: (1) the mass spectrum of the compound; (2) the name of the compound; (3) the formula of the compound; and (4) the structure of the compound. Items 1, 2, and 3 will be provided in an ASCII formatted file. Item 4 will be provided in a file format compatible with Molecular Design ISIS Base Chemical Database. The determination has been made that Chemical Concepts GmbH is the only responsible source for these data. A solicitation document is not available. See Note 22. (0289)
