Slana (Site Code W31XNJ) Relocate two existing T-9 test cells from Griffis Air Force Base, New York and Grand Forks Air Force Base, South Dakota and make the following modifications: Provide new augmentor tube and exhaust stack; enclose augmentor in concrete structure; modify doors, windows and acoustical ceiling and wall panels; provide new flow screens, bridges cranes, test stands and hardware. Construct approximately 2000 feet of above ground stainless steel RAM air duct consisting of valves, refrigeration turbines, expansion joints and supporting systems. Construct compressed air steam, raw water, fuel, hydraulic and misc. systems to support testing. Construct a 10,000 SF pre-engineered warehouse. Provide misc. buildings to house mechanical and electrical equipment. Electrical work will consist of transformers, switchgear, cathodic protection, fire detection, PA systems, CCTV system, fiber optic cabling and interior electrical distribution. Site work will consist of utility upgrades, grading and construction of parking areas. Critical Path Method (Network Analysis System) is required. The Navy large engine environmental test facility documents (Plans Specifications, etc.) Require special handling in accordance with DoD directive 5230.25 ''Withholding of unclassified technical data from public disclosure.'' As a result, the contractor shall be registered with the Defense Logistics Service Center (DLSC), Battle Creek, MI 49016-3412 (1- 800-352-3572). Proof of registration must be provided with payment before Plans or Specifications shall be mailed. Bid documents are available on or about 31 October 1995. Costs are as follows: Plans half size $150.00. Specifications $150.00. Estimated cost of work is over $35,000,000. Unrestricted.
