This procurement is for the design, fabrication and erection of a 64' by 16' eave height, pre-engineered metal shop building on an existing concrete foundation at Arnold AFB (Arnold Engineering Development Center), Tennessee. The building shall be designed and fabricated in accordance with MBMA and Southern Building Code requirements. Extending from each building end wall will be a 10' long x 24' wide x 15' clear height canopy, with 8' drop panels, covering a 12' x 12' opening with bi-parting sliding doors. The building shall also include a 32' long x 16' wide x 16' high lean-to shelter, and a 10' long x 3' wide x 8' clear height canopy, plus two personnel doors extending from the side walls. The building will be uninsulated and will have gutters and downspouts. The roof shall be 24-gauge galvanized steel, vertical standing seam. Electrical and mechanical work will be provided by the Government at a later date. Performance period shall be 120 calendar days following receipt of Notice to Proceed. Estimated order of magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. Please note that the ''due date'' referenced in this solicitation is an estimated release date for the IFB, not a bid opening date. Any interested firm may submit a bid which will be considered. Any firm responding to this notice should do so in writing and should indicate whether or not it is a small business and whether or not it is a small disadvantaged business.
