P/N 53682-1, waterproof electric motor, 440 volts A/C, 3 phase, 60 HZ, fully enclosed, travel rate per minute is 35 feet, 5 HP, weight is 265 pounds, unit has a handcrank for emergency operations. It is the Government's belief that only Benson Electric Co. can provide this item. However, other potential sources having the expertise and required capabilities can submit such data discussing the same in duplicate within 15 days from the date of this announcement. The following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered items: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered items (i.e. salient physical, functional, and serviceability characterists, or 2) Data that the offered item has been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the originial equipment manufacturer.
