This notice is to publicize the availability of Qualification Requirements for Repair of the Output Coupling, applicable to the F-16 engine start system. The output coupling is a component of the Power Takeoff (PTO) shaft that transmits torque from the main aircraft engine to the accessory drive gear box (ADG). It also transmits torque from the ADG to the main aircraft engine during engine starting operations.
