C -- ARCHITECT AND ENGINEERING INDEFINITE DELIVERY DESIGN SERVICES SOL DAHA19-95-R-002 DUE 121195 POC Alfred W. Rutter, Contract Specialist, 508-651-5737. A-E services are required for an Indefinite Delivery Type Contract for Barnes Air National Guard Base, Westfield, Massachusetts. Barnes ANGB is the supporting entity for the Worcester Air national Guard Station, Worcester, Massachusetts for which design and construction for that location may be required. The tentative project list requires the design, including the preparation of the construction plans and specifications for the following projects: Relocate Drop Tank Storage and Parking which shall consist of providing all investigative and design services necessary to partially relocate the existing drop tank storage pad and provide additional parking for Bldg. 27. Project includes providing up to 4,000 SF of new pavement for storage of removable aircraft fuel tanks and corresponding fencing as well as approximately 2,000 SY of parking area. The estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00, and Add-Alter Security Police Operations Facility which shall consist of construction of a 1,500 SF addition and alteration of approximately 4,800 SF to Bldg. 28 at Barnes ANG Base. The project includes all related site work and utilities as required. The estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $ 250,000.00 and $ 500,000.00. Projects which involve asbestos may be included in this contract. The anticipated services shall be awarded under an A-E Indefinite Delivery Order Contract for a term of one year with an option to extend the term of the contract for one year. The estimated cost for this contract shall be $750,000.00 for the initial period and $750,000.00 for the option year. The maximum cost for each delivery order shall not exceed $150,000.00. Ensuing projects shall require architectural and various design disciplines. Work anticipated under this contract may include Types ''A'', ''B'', ''C'' and Bid Document Reproduction services in a variety of combinations. The significant selection criteria, in descending order of importance are contained in numbered Note 24 of this publication. Item 6, special qualifications shall consist of Volume f Work previously awarded by DOD. All work covered by this statement shall consist of furnishing all plant, labor, professional services, analysis, equipment, materials and the performance of all necessary travel and associated services required to furnish complete designs, ready for advertising to the general public for the projects listed herein. All designs and services shall be in accordance with professional engineering and architectural practices including supplementary instructions and guidance contained in the Air Force Standards and Guidelines. A- E firms which meet the requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit a completed Standard Form SF 254, Architect- Engineer and Related services questionnaire, and Standard Form SF 255, Architect-Engineer Related Services for a Specific Project to the Base Civil Engineer, Attn: Lt Colonel Gregory E.
