C -- A & E DESIGN SERVICES SOL DAHA19-96-R-0001 DUE 121195 POC Alfred W. Rutter, Contract Specialist, 508-651-5737. Architect and Engineering services are required for a design of a Dinning Hall at Barnes Air National Guard Base, Westfield, Massachusetts. This project shall include the development of associated plans and specifications for the Dinning Hall. Significant selection evaluation criteria are contained in Note 24 of this publication. Item 6, Special Qualifications shall consist of Volume of Work previously awarded by DOD. Completed plans and specifications are required by December 1996. The selected A-E firm shall be awarded a firm fixed price contract with options to include Types ''A'', ''B'', ''C'' and Bid Document Reproduction services. The work covered by this statement will consist of furnishing all plant, labor, professional services, analysis, equipment, materials, and the performance of all necessary travel and associated services required to furnish a complete design ready for advertising of the above referenced project. Completed designs shall include site investigations as required, compilation of data, technical analysis, development of design concepts and preparation of drawings, specifications and detailed cost estimates. All services and designs shall be in accordance with professional engineering and architectural practices and supplementary instruction included in Air Force Standards and Guidelines. The magnitude of construction for this project is estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Criteria and definite guidance for design shall be provided to the selected A-E firm by the Contracting Officer. A&E firms which meet the requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit one set of the following: Completed Standard Form SF 254, A-E Statement of Qualifications and Standard Form SF 255, A&E Statement of Qualifications for Specific Project. No other general information to firms under consideration for this project is made and no further action is required.
