circulated in accordance with Article 10.6. G/TBT/Notif. 95.279. 1.
Member to Agreement notifying: Netherlands. If applicable, name of

responsible: Ministry of Transport and Public Works. 3. Notified under
Article 2.9.2. 4. Products covered (HS or CCCN where applicable,
otherwise national tariff heading. ICS numbers may be provided in
addition, where applicable): Broadcasting equipment for ground stations
operating in aircraft (mobile) bands (LW/MW band 283,5-526,5 KHz) for
navigation purposes. 5. Title and number of pages of the notified
document: Specification of Technical Requirements for Radio Equipment
LVD4-2: Radio Equipment for Non-Directional Radio Beacons, Operating
within the LW/MW Bands. 6. Description of content: This draft contains
minimum requirements with which the stated radio equipment must comply
for use within the LW/MW band (283,5-526,5 KHz). 7. Objective and
rationale: The equipment should promote aircraft safety in Dutch
airspace. This specification supplements the minimum requirements
stipulated in Annex 10 (aeronautical Telecommunications) appertaining
to the Treaty of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
