Hook, 202/485-9725. The National Park Service is directed by law to
possess an aggressive Employee Assistance Program for its employees.
Contractor shall provide face-to-face counseling services for employees
with personal problems and work-related conflicts. The employees
consist of federal workers as well as a large number of law enforcement
employees who have critical incident debriefing needs. Employees are
located within the Washington, DC metropolitan area, Virginia,
Maryland, and West Virginia areas. However, the United States Park
Police have field offices as far as San Francisco and New York which
would be covered under this contract. This contract length is for a
base period with 4 option years. Proposals are requested from firms who
have demonstrated experience and are capable of compiling and
implementing a comprehensive, Employee Assistance Program. Estimated
magnitude is between $25,000 and $65,000 per year. All responsible
