KACZMAREK, (215)697-9661 The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire non-personal Contractor Engineering and Technical Services (CETS) by qualified Field Service personnel for the purpose of informing, instructing, and training Department of the Navy personnel in the installation, operation, and maintenance of the P-3C Update II and Update III Aircraft. Specific systems include the following: P-3C Electrical systems, generator, inverters, voltage regulators, batteries, constant speed drives, aircraft instruments, fuel indicating systems, attitude heading reference systems, integrated automatic flight control systems, auto pilot systems, compass systems, approach power compensating systems, air data computers and associated special/general support equipment. The proposed procurement consists of two (2) tasks: 32152 and 32154. The base contract period for both tasks is 01 Feb 1996 through 30 Sep 1996. Each task will also contain two (2) twelve (12) month options for the periods of 01 Oct 1996 through 30 Sep 1997 and 01 Oct 1997 through 30 Sep 1998. In addition, each task will also contain a third option period from 01 Oct 1998 through 31 Jan 1999. This acquisition covers the Governments minimum needs. The solicitation will contain specifications for Contractor Field Service Representatives as appropriate. Performance for tasks 32152 and 32154 will take place at Naval Air Station (NAS) Barbers Point, HI and Naval Air Reserve (NAR) Santa Clara, CA respectively.
