SWEETRA, (215)697-9692 The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to continue to acquire, 0.5 Tesla (T) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services for the Radiology Department, Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, VA. These services shall consist of: (1) providing the MRI facility at the Naval Medical Center; (2) operation of the facility at the Naval Medical Center by contractor provided full-time staff, consisting of four technologists and two receptionist; (3) complete maintenance/repairs and housekeeping as necessary during the contract period; and (4) ultimate removal of their turnkey MRI facility. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Service type contract is anticipated. The effort will consist of a base year to commence on 01 Mar 96 and continue through 30 Sep 96, with provisions for one option year, one four month option and four one month option periods. The proposed procurement will be solicited under Solicitation No. N00140-95-R-N140 and will be issued approximately 01 Nov 95 and will close approximately 30 days thereafter.
