Psychiatric services to be performed at Contractor's facility for authorized Department of Defense beneficiaries as referred by Moncrief Army Community Hospital, Fort Jackson, SC. Contractor shall be an institution currently operating within a 40 mile radius of Fort Jackson, SC, having full inpatient psychiatric and substance abuse services for adult, adolescent and child care. Contractor shall provide mental health and substance abuse treatment and related support and facilities sufficient to meet inpatient demand generated seven days a week, 24 hours a day, including the capability to process emergency admissions within identified time constraints. Performance shall be effective from date of contract award through 30 Sep 96. Pursuant to the provisions of FAR 52.217-0009 and 52.217-0008, two (2) annual option periods and option to extend services (NTE 6 months), will be available under the proposed contract.
