These forms should be mailed to the Colville National Forest, Federal Building, 765 S. Main, Colville, WA 99114. Project is located in T33N, R39E, S12; T33N, R40E, S 3,10,15,16,18 & 19; T33N, R41E, S 7,16.17,24 & 36; T33N, R42E, S 8,17,20 & 29; T34N, R41E S 20,21,29 & 32. The project is located approximately 4-6 miles NW, N, NE from Chewelah, WA. 254's and 255's will be received through 1/10/96. Work will include but not be limited to records research, 3 corner searches, 2 line tree searches, one control survey, 22 corners to monument, an estimated 20.25 miles of property boundary to mark and post, 27 corner maintenance, and the proper records and reports to satisfy FOREST SERVICE, STATE and COUNTY REQUIREMENTS. Estimated start work date is Feb. 1, 1996. Contract time is 240 calendar days. Evaluation criteria, in descending order is as follows (#1 being most critical) (1) Professional capabilities; (2) Specialized experience and technical competence, as required; (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in required time; (4) Past performance on contracts with respect to cost control, quality of work and compliance with performance schedules; (5) Geographical location and knowledge of the locality of the project, provided that application of the criterion leaves an appropriate number of qualified firms, given the nature and size of the project; (6) In addition to the above, special qualifications for the Forest Service A&E acquisitions include volume of work previously awarded to the firm by the Forest Servie, with the object of effecting an equitable distribution of Forest Service architect engineering contracts among qualified architect engineer firms including small and small disadvantaged business firms, and firms that have not had prior Forest Service contracts.
