Install a storm drain inlet on the north end of the area. Sawcut and remove a 2' width of existing concrete island. Four existing fuel lines between the pumphouse and the island shall be tested. All acceptable lines will be activated by modifications at the pumphouse and the unloading islands. New pump shall be installed and piping modifications performed. Existing pump start/stop buttons to be replaced. Existing interior pumphouse lighting to be replaced. A light fixture is to be installed on the exterior of the pumphouse . Above ground piping is to be installed from the pumphouse to the fuel transmission line manifold north of Building 69. Bid opening date listed in Item 10 is approximate. Request bid documents by 21 November 1995. Estimated cost $25,000,000 to $100,000,000. This procurement is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB Concerns should indicate interest NO LATER THAN 01 NOVEMBER 1995. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB Concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an UNRESTRICTED basis.
