Z -- INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT FOR SURFACE PREPARATION AND COATING OF DEEP DRAFT CAMELS AND SEPARATORS AT WHARFBUILDER AREA, FORD ISLAND, OAHU, HAWAII Due 110295. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to identify potential offerors for Indefinite Quantity Contract for Surface Preparation and Coating of Deep Draft Camels and Separators at Wharfbuilder Area, Ford Island, Oahu, Hawaii. The term of the contract will be a 12 month base period plus two option years. The Government will not synopsize the options when exercised. The work includes surface preparation, prime coating, and finish coating deep draft submarine camels and separators including but not limited to assemblies and components dismantled by Government forces, hazardous and non-hazardous waste collection and disposal and other incidental related work. A certified, licensed transportor shall transport all hazardous wastes to an approved permitted treatment, storage and disposal facility. The contractor shall obtain all applicable permits, including permits required by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the State of Hawaii. SIC Code 1799 applies. Estimated cost: $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. This contract will replace a contract for similar services awarded in 1994 for $499,000.00. We will include information about the current contract and the incumbent with the solicitation package. We do not require requests under the Freedom of Information Act to provide this general information.
