59 -- WIDEBAND PCM AND TV TRANSMITTERS SOL NONE POC Caroline R. Massey, Contracting Officer, 804-824-1959, caroline.massey@ccmail.gsfc.nasa.gov. NASA, Wallops Flight Facility is seeking potential sources to furnish wideband PCM and TV transmitters for use on sounding rocket missions of 15-40 minutes in length. These transmitters are flown from national and service test ranges. Transmitters must meet the qualification standards of the White Sands Missile Range Regulation (WSMRR) 105-10. The requirements of this regulation can be met by conforming to IRIG 106-93 plus the draft NASA specifications. The Government is particularly interested in commercial unit capability where possible. A firm fixed-price performance based indefinite quantity contract for a minimum of 15 transmitters is contemplated with delivery not-to-exceed 90 days ARO. Interested parties are encouraged to contact Contracting Officer, Caroline R. Massey at the addresses (electronic or physical) contained elsewhere in this synopsis, for a copy of the Government's draft specifications. Firms may respond by documenting their experience and capabilities with the design, manufacture, and delivery of transmitters, and any comments or questions regarding the Government's specifications. Responses shall be held to a maximum of 5 pages, and shall be sent to the address contained herein not later than November 30, 1995.
