This support is for ARPA's administrative functions, not in direct fulfillment of its research mission. Included is customer support services, networking services, systems modernization, custom software development and maintenance, commercial software tailoring, computer security support, configuration management, facilities support, training, and inventory control for a customer base of approximately 500 computer users. All users require desktop, microcomputer, microcomputer support, half of which require networked portable support. Approximately 20% of users require support for corporate data access and approximately 20% require support for various custom client/server applications. Approximately 90% of users are collocated at Virginia Square Plaza, Arlington, Virginia, the remainder within a one mile radius. The small business set-aside SIC Code is 7379 and the size standard is $18Mil. The period of performance will be twenty- four (24) months from date of award plus three (3) one-year option periods.
