The project has two phases with an indeterminate amount of time between each phase. The contractor shall be notified fourteen (14) days prior to the beginning of each phase. Phase 1 will occur prior to the retrofit of systems furniture by SSA's furniture contractor and will include demolition of existing outlets and branch circuiting, and installation of a new panelboard and feeder. Phase 2 will occur during the retrofit of systems furniture and include installation of new branch circuiting and outlets, and installation of new raceways and data cabling. After the new data cabling is operational the contractor shall remove the original data cabling. Performance construction time for Phase 1 is sixty (60) days. Performance construction time for Phase 2 is sixty (60) days. Estimated cost range $25,000 to $100,000. Government bid acceptance time will be ninety (90) days. Anticipated solicitation issue date is January 4, 1996. Specifications and plans will be limited to three (3) sets per contractor base on availability.
