requires all plant, labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation
and supervision to construct a 12,000 square foot mobility storage
warehouse for the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, 193rd Special
Operations Group, located at the Harrisburg International Airport,
Middletown, Pennsylvania. The work will include, but not limited too,
site preparation, placement of a concrete foundation, construction of
a reinforced masonry building, and installation of an adhered EDPM
roof. Work on this project will also involve installation of a fire
alarm system, a fire protection sprinkler system, a heating system and
all utilities such as electricity, water, and sewer. All work shall
conform with the plans and specification provided with the
solicitation. The performance period has been estimated at three
hundred (300) calendar days. The estimated construction range is
between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The solicitation shall be issued as an
Invitation for Bid. The projected date for availability of the
Invitation for Bid is 18 December 1995 with a projected Bid Opening
Date of 23 January 1996. There will be no charge for the solicitation
documents. A copy of the these documents will be available for
inspection at the United States Property and Fiscal Office, Annville,
Pennsylvania. A solicitation package will also be sent to Dodge
Reports, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and the Harrisburg Builder's
Exchange, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Interested concerns should as early
as possible, but not later than fifteen (15) calendar days after
publication of this notice, indicate interest in bidding as a prime
contractor or subcontractor on this project, and provide evidence of
their capability to perform including references for similar work with
contract numbers, points of contact, and telephone numbers, and if
appropriate a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and
economically disadvantaged business concern. In addition, the dollar
amount of current construction bonding capability is required. The
Contracting Officer ill utilize this information to make a decision to
issue this solicitation as a set-aside for Small Disadvantaged
Business (SDB) or as unrestricted without further notice. Therefore,
written replies to this notice are requested from all interested
business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. Replies must indicate
the firm's size status as a large, small, small disadvantaged or an 8
(a) business concern. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code
for this particular project is a 1542. The applicable small business
size standard including affiliates is no more than $17 million average
annual gross revenue for the last three (3) fiscal years. Each
business concern must also include their Federal Tax Identification
Number and Corporate Status. Corporate Status means the concern's
