Z -- MODIFY TRUCK UNLOADING, BUILDING 69, NAVAL AIR STATION, CECIL FIELD, FLORIDA Sol Contract N62467-95-B-2508, Due 121995, POC OICC Office. The work includes Installation of concrete ramps on both ends of the truck unloading area. Install a storm drain inlet on the north end of the area. Sawcut and remove a 2' width of existing concrete island. 4 existing fuel lines between the pumphouse and the island shall be tested. All acceptable lines will be activated by modifications at the pumphouse and the unloading island. New pump shall be installed and piping modifications performed. Existing pump start/stop buttons to be replaced. Existing interior pumphouse lighting to be replaced. A light fixture is to be installed on the exterior of the pumphouse. Above ground piping is to be installed from the pumphouse to the fuel transmission line manifold north of Building 69. Bid opening date listed in item 10 is approximate. Request bid documents by 5 December 1995. Estimated cost is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The proposed acquisition listed herein is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Concerns. Interested SDB concerns shall notify this office IN Writing, Attn: Code R20.3 of their intention to bid the project as prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 15 days after this notice. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status shall be submitted with references. If you have submitted this information to this office within the last year, you need only to state that you have submitted and request the plans and specifications. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are requested from all interested business concerns as well as from small disadvantaged business concerns.
