Z -- REPLACE OVERHEAD ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, EAST WHERRY HOUSING SOL F41691-96-B0001 DUE 121595 POC Ms.Elizabeth Anders tel: (210) 652-5183 Furnish all materials, labor, plant, tools, transportation, equipment, services, and incidentals necessary to replace the overhead electrical distribution in east Wherry Housing at Randolph AFB TX. Work will include, but will not be limited to, replacing the 13.8 KV two phase overhead distribution system with a three phase 13.8 KV underground distribution system; replacing existing 13.8 KV single phase transformers with padmount 13.8 KV three phase transformers; installing sectionalizing switches and sub-loops for padmount distribution transformers; connecting a tie switch between East and West Wherry feeders; installing new underground secondary feeds from padmount transformers to housing load centers; installing concrete encased duct banks and manholes for new 13.8 KV underground distribution system; installing tree-retardent EPR 133% insulated 15 KV cable; installing schedule 40 PVC conduit and new 600 V copper secondary conductors; installing a 240 V 4 wire, three phase load center at each transformer with a main disconnect breaker for each building served by the transformers, and, removing existing 13.8 KV two phase overhead distribution, to include the poles. The magnitude of the proposed project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Performance period will be 340 calendar days. SIC Code is 1731. Size standard is $7.0 million.
