Egnor, (803)577-5011x7212 Negotiations are being conducted with Abbott Diagnostics for all reagents, supplies, calibrators, etc for the Abbott Axsym chemistry and toxicology analyzers located at the Medical Center. Requirement is for brand name or equal to the Abbott Diagnostics for the Axsym supplies. The VA intends to award a contract to Abbott Diagnostics Division, One Abbott Park Rd., Abbott Park, IL 60064-3500. No bid packages available. The proposed contract action is for the supplies etc. for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within response date will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government and information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
