construction for the Flint Job Corps Center in Flint, Michigan. The new
center shall provide academic, administration, vocational,
medical/dental, recreational, food service, storage/support and housing
facilities. There are five buildings to be constructed on existing
footings and foundations, including associated site and utility work.
These buildings include: Administration/Medical/Dental - Building ``A''
(11,435 GSF); Education/Vocational - Building ``C'' (26,889 GSF); and
two Dormitories - Buildings ``D'' and ``F'' (28,241 GSF Each). Also, at
the owner's option, a Single-Parent Dormitory - Building ``G'' (28,241
GSF) and Child Development Center - Building ``H'' (8,530 GSF) will be
included. Alternatives will be included as well. The estimated cost
range of construction is $10,000,000 to $15,000.000. The estimated
construction time is 421 calendar days. Plans and Specifications will
be available on November 8, 1995, from the office of the
Architect/Engineer, William Kessler & Associates, Incorporated, 409 E.
Jefferson Avenue, Suite 600, Detroit, Michigan 48226, Contact Theo

project. Collect calls will not be accepted. It is emphasized that
requests for plans and specifications shall be directed to the A/E firm
listed above to ensure proper handling of requests. Request must be in
writing and a $300.00 refundable bid-deposit is required. This
bid-deposit must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check,
or money-order, made payable to the U.S. Department of Labor, and
submitted to the A/E firm at the time of request. Requests will be
answered on a first-come, first-serve basis until supplies are
exhausted. For requests made after the supply is exhausted, the
Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a fee is
warranted. The non-refundable fee shall not exceed the actual cost of
duplication of the IFB documents, plus COD charges. A pre-bid walk-thru
is scheduled for November 29, 1995, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Bid
Opening Date is December 20, 1995, at 2:00 p.m. local time. This is a
