The work to be performed under this project involves the replacement of existing two overhead electrical services with a new 2500 amps, 208 volts underground electrical service, including replacement of distribution system consisting of about fifteen panel-boards and feeders, and several starters at the Jacksonville Job Corps Center located in Jacksonville, Florida. Construction time is scheduled for 147 calendar days to substantial completion. The estimated cost range for construction is between $100,000 to $250,000. Plans and specifications will be available on November 9, 1995 from the office of Brame Poole Architects, 606 N.E. First Street, Gainesville, Florida 32601. Contact Paige L. It is emphasized that requests for plans and specifications shall be directed to the A/E firm listed above to ensure proper handling of requests. All requests must be in writing. Plans and specifications are available for pick-up at the above-mentioned A/E's office. Requests will be answered on a first-come, first-serve basis until supplies are exhausted. For requests made after the supply is exhausted, the Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a fee is warranted. The non-refundable fee shall not exceed the actual cost of duplication of the IFB documents, plus COD charges. A Pre-bid walk-through is scheduled for November 30, 1995, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
