The Naval Sea Systems Command, (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple occasions over the period of Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-94-G-5141 with Martin Marietta Corporation, Government Electronic Systems, 199 Borton Landing Road, Moorestown, N.J. 08057. Orders will be issued for AEGIS Weapon System Material and Services required to acquire, fabricate or modify the AEGIS Weapon System and associated equipment at AEGIS Education Center (AEC), AEGIS Computer Center (ACC) and the AEGIS Combat System Center (ACSC). Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Martin Marietta Corporation is the developer and sole producer of the AEGIS Weapon System MK 7. It is the only company which possesses the knowledge, experience, tooling and equipment necessary to perform the tasks described. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or service satisfy the Navy's requirements. Martin Marietta Corporation is the Navy's repair and overhaul depot for the AEGIS Weapon System MK 7.
