NSN 5985-01- 295-2496 (A3020711) flexible Wave Guide modified to include a quick disconnect clamp on one rectangular flange (per M3922/52-039) and on other end a flange equiv. to M3922/55-001, plus total length increased to 16 inches. Detailed technical data for the modification is not available. Capable suppliers must indicate in writing to Commander, CECOM, Attn. AMSEL-LC-ED-RS-3, Ft. Monmouth, NJ. 07703. Documentation detailing how acceptance testing will be accomplished, test results, and a statement that supplier can in fact deliver the item is required. The modified item must be form, fit, and functionally inchangeable with current Wave Guide. Present sources are Continental, Airtron, and Mitec.
