A -- A - JAST WEAPONS SYSTEM CONCEPT DEMONSTRATION PHASE RFI POC Contact, Patricica K. Gibson, Phone (703)604-6100 The JAST Program Office intends to competively award two contracts in FY97 for the weapons system concept demonstration phase. The principal objective is to demonstrate, to a low level of technical risk for entering E&MD, those critical technologies, processes, and system characteristics necessary to produce an affordable family of strike fighter aircraft that meets Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and Royal Navy needs. This will be a full and open competition. Some portions of the solicitation (statement of objectives, evaluation criteria, and cost instructions) are currently available for review. Industry is requested to indicate interest in participating in this competition no later than 3 November 1995.
