The U.S. Postal Service is soliciting for a guaranteed 200,000 square feet of warehouse space for an initial two year period with four two year options. Contractor shall provide full service warehousing in one location. Services shall include but not be limited to receiving, handling, storing, re-warehousing, product packaging, inventorying and shipping of U.S. Postal Service equipment. Contractors wishing to submit proposals must have a warehouse within a twenty five (25) mile radius from the Mid Island Processing and Distribution Center, located at 160 Duryea Road, Melville, NY 11747-8009. The facility must be accessible by way of county, city or state maintained roads with no commercial restrictions (including but not limited to underpasses less than 13' 6''). Proposals will be evaluated based on the following: technical area - 50 points; management area - 15 points, quality control - 15 points.
