Harvey (205) 235-7558 (Site Code DAAC01) Line Item 0001 consist of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with these specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof for the construction of the Transmission Dynamometer Facility located in the East Area on the North side of Building 129. In general, the work consists of the following: site preparation and excavation for the new foundation, new concrete foundation along with all cut and fill required, new pre-engineered metal building, relocation of existing power lines and new electrical service to new building, new electrical lighting and power system and new control room and restroom. Line Item 0002 consist of the furnishing and installation of two (2) new top bridge crane systems with each consisting of a five-ton, top running bridge with an underhung trolley system on a set of runway tracks. The bridge crane system shall have a dual drive powered bridge(s), electric hoist carrier(s), and electric hoist(s). The cranes shall be designed and constructed to CMAA 74 Class C, moderate service requirements, for operation in a machine shop environment. Estimated magnitude of project is between $250,000 and $500,000. One Job. This requirement is subject to the availability of funds. Completion time is 180 calendar days from date of award.
