Work consists of the renovation of approximately 1,425 SF of laboratory space including the installation of new gypsum board interior partitions, doors, ceilings, lab furniture and finishes. Work also includes the installation of a new fume hood and rooftop A/C equipment and associated electrical work. Estimated construction cost is $100,000 to $250,000. Estimted construction time is 16 weeks. Bid documents will be available on or about August 15, 1995. A 20% bid bond is required. Payment and performance bonds are required after contract award. Brookhaven is charging a non-refundable fee of $20 for bid documents. Personal checks made out to ''Brookhaven National Laboratory'' are acceptable. Checks may be sent immediately and bid packages will be mailed upon availability. Requests for bid packages received without proper payment will not be acknowledged. (0296)
