Solicitations are not available nor does the Government intend to pay for information sought. The Department of Defense, Television-Audio Support Activity, (T- ASA), is seeking to identify sources of supply that can design, furnish, install, test, and provide familiarization training on a Digital Video Editing Support System. The system shall access and process digital full motion video, still images, and large graphics files by remote users. The system shall include a graphics subsystems, capabilities for Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) networking, and a fiber optic, Local Area Network (LAN). The system shall interface with existing Silicon Graphics, Mac, and PC based workstations. There are no Government owned drawings or technical literature for the equipment described herein. Firms with the ability to furnish this type of equipment are encouraged to submit a written statement and comprehensive technical literature. Telephone responses to this action will not be accepted.
