73 -- BLAST CHILLER DUE 111095 POC Contact Point, Howard Finger, (203)932-5711x4607 The Department of Veterans Affairs Connecticut Healthcare System (VA), 950 Campbell Avenue, West Haven Campus, West Haven, Connecticut intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Alladin Synergetics, Inc., P.O. Box 100888, Nashville, TN 37224 for a blast chiller, under the authority of FAR 6.302. The blast chiller is needed to rapidly chill foods for advanced food delivery systems and it is also needed for HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards for a new JCAHO requirement. Responsible sources may respond with their capability to provide this item or submit proposals. All proposals received within 15 days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
