SERVICES SOL N/A - INDUSTRY BRIEFING POC Karen Poniatowski tel:
202/358-2469 NASA will conduct an industry briefing at NASA
Headquarters on November 17, 1995 in Room 7H46 from 8:30 A.M to 12:00
P.M. to discuss with interested parties (including industry,
educational institutions, and government agencies) NASA's current
efforts to improve the future acquisition of reliable expendable launch
vehicles (ELV) services. The briefing will outline criteria NASA is
considering using as requirements for launch service providers in
future ELV services acquisitions, with the established goal of
enhancing the probability of reliable launches. A short discussion
period will follow the briefing during which all attendees are
encouraged to participate in an exchange of views. More lengthy,
in-depth discussion will be possible during the week of December 4,
1995 in one-on-one discussions between the NASA team and industry.
Contractors desiring such a meeting may make arrangements with Mr.
Bruce Clark at the briefing, or by calling (301) 344-4921 thereafter.

independently comment on NASA's findings and/or to suggest other
possible approaches to improving reliability. The purpose of the

the virtue of their products. Contractors interested in attending the
November 17th briefing should notify Karen Poniatowski at (202)
